5 Reasons Why Mouldd’s Resin Makes The Best Art We’ve Ever Seen

We did a lot of research on Mouldd before we started this project, and we noticed a lot of people were impressed by the clear finish of the product. Having such a clear look to resin art keeps it looking nicer for longer. Which is obviously something we wanted.

If you want to make the perfect resin you need to make sure there are no bubbles. If bubbles build up too much it will make your resin look cloudy. From our experience, it is possible to remove the bubbles, but it can be a real pain. So bubble-free is always something we look for when buying new resin. We hate the thought of our resin being ruined by annoying little pockets of air.

Thankfully, all of our resin came out great. We got the clear glossy finish we were looking for. And I’ll be honest, getting the bubble-free finish on the first try with a new brand is rare. We’ve had so much resin art ruined by bubbles in the past. To see our Mouldd resin come out so clearly was a huge relief. So I’d highly recommend Mouldd for all resin artists. 

3. Heat Resistant For Longer Lasting Resin‍

Heat resistance was a key feature we wanted from our next resin project. If the resin can’t withstand heat, it will distort and ruin the shape. For example, if you put a warm cup of coffee on low-quality resin it will slowly start to soften and change shape. However, this was not the case with our Mouldd experience. Once we’d made some resin coasters, we were desperate to try them out. So that’s exactly what we did!

We made the hottest cup of coffee we could and placed it on one of the new coasters. We waited for it to melt, soften, and distort. After 30 minutes the coffee went cold so we assessed the resin. No damage. Not even a single mark. The new coaster stood strong. The coaster might have a few more tests in the future, but so far, so good!

We really didn't know what to expect, we’ve had some terrible experiences in the past, but the customer service from Mouldd is outstanding. Their UK-based team made for one of the best customer experiences we’ve ever had. They made the process really easy for us. This resin art adventure was superb from start to finish. We genuinely don’t have a bad word to say about this experience. Next time we need some resin, we’re going straight back to Mouldd!
